Call of Duty Warzone Bootcamp

If you’re feeling intimidated by the growing complexity of Call of Duty: Warzone and want somewhere to train, you won’t have to suffer on the battlefield anymore. The game is officially introducing the ability to play against bots via a mode called Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp.

What Is Bootcamp?

Bootcamp is an expansion of the Modern Warfare III Training Course that launched in Season 2. It’s a Quad-only training mode set on Urzikstan, designed to give players a “snapshot of the real-deal Call of Duty: Warzone experience.” Here are the key details:

  • Mode-Specific Matchmaking: Bootcamp features up to 20 players via mode-specific matchmaking.
  • Bots Included: The mode includes 24 bots to test your mettle.
  • Party Up or Fill-Squad: You can access Bootcamp either by partying up with friends or via a fill-squad.

Restrictions and Considerations

  • Bots Only in Bootcamp: Bots are only available in Bootcamp, so their integration is fairly limited.
  • No Progression: The new mode won’t progress your various Daily/Weekly challenges or other in-game quests.
  • Community Awareness: If bots are introduced in any other mode, Activision will “ensure the community is informed ahead of time.”

Although Activision has never officially acknowledged it, the Warzone community has long suspected the presence of bots in some capacity. These bots typically serve to fill out games or enhance ranked matchmaking, a trend also seen in other popular shooters like Fortnite.

So, if you’re looking to hone your skills or just want a more controlled environment, Bootcamp in Call of Duty: Warzone is the place to be. Get ready to face off against bots and prepare for the real battles ahead!
